Praise for Anne Murphy
“Sample these narratives of Irish life and you’ll ask for more. My favourite ‘Moving’, a vivid portrayal of a dying breed, a range that comforts body and soul, a parquet floor getting its final coat of polish, all fond resonances of my own childhood…Savour the suspense of each tale relieved with a twist that touches a nerve, usually the one that makes us smile. The writer is smart, funny and gets to the nub of things…” Jerry Gardner — Paperbagwriters
