Thinking Allowed is a delightful mix of wry humour, self-mocking honesty and heart-warming optimism. This collection moves from stark reality, rewinds to memories of adolescence and fast forwards to dreams, fantasies and true life messages sent and received as randomly as a message in a bottle. Photography and illustrations heighten the immediacy of an author whose humour and gentle wit echo the mischeivousness of Pam Ayres and whose perspective is truly thought provoking. Her words have the authenticity of someone who is wide awake, audacious and busy thinking aloud on her feet!
